How to Rub Off the Black Burned Mark Inside the Bottom of a Glass Cooking Pot

    • 1). Pour baking soda directly onto the burned mark on your glass pot.

    • 2). Wet a nylon or plastic scrubbing pad or a soft cloth with warm water.

    • 3). Rub the stain gently with the cloth or pad; the baking soda will begin to remove the stain.

    • 4). Scrub the glass pot until the entire stain is gone.

    • 5). If the stain does not come off, rinse the glass pot, and pour a solution of half ammonia and half water into the dish.

    • 6). Leave the glass pot with the ammonia and water solution to soak for a few hours.

    • 7). Scrub the stain with a soft cloth or nylon or plastic pad to lift remaining stains off the glass pot.

    • 8). Wash the glass pot in warm and soapy water to remove the ammonia.
