How to Deal With Your Family Members When You Become a Surrogate?

The process of surrogacy has a humble beginning.
Its essence is the beautiful thought of fulfilling someone else's parenting dream.
It is selfless in nature and indeed a wonderful deed.
The acceptance of immediate family members will prove to be supportive during the entire journey.
Friends, Colleagues, and extended family members might also help you during the process.
But generally speaking, big decisions like this are taken by the immediate family-children, parents, and husband.
The family needs to discuss all the elements, grievances, pros and cons rationally.
After considering everyone's perspective should the decision be taken.
If the family reaches to no conclusion, then therapy should be considered strongly.
During therapy sessions a new perspective might be gained, which will help each and every family individual understand surrogacy and the elements related to it better.
The therapy sessions could be planned through a family psychiatric, or through online chat networks, or even in clinics.
But everything doesn't go as planned, so there might be some discrepancies.
The only thing you should remember is that people do this for profit, but your purpose is far greater than those narrow boundaries.
Therefore, it is not your fault that your family is not thoughtful and open minded.
You should instead embrace your own thoughts.
In addition you should never let yourself feel lonely or tied down due to people around you.
There are various support groups that you could possibly join, where you will be appreciated for your thoughts.
If the family objects the surrogacy in any manner, then it might have a negative impact.
The causing factor maybe stress which could probably harm the baby as well as you.
Stress is harmful to your health and should be removed immediately out of the door.
You should practice meditation exercises and consider counseling in order to talk your way through your troubles.
If your family is supporting you during the pregnancy, you will have an easier time getting through it.
Otherwise, you will have to keep your health and emotions under control.
Your health would worsen as you get closer to the birth date, and your hormonal symptoms will grow disturbingly high.
It may be that as your belly increases in size and you will not be able to work efficiently.
At which time you might again feel stressed, lonely, or tied down.
You have to keep your patience and perseverance, and continue attending counseling, both for yourself and your family members.
When the birth date starts coming closer you should consider getting mentally ready to be able to give up the baby.
As you have planned that the baby is not yours you should remind yourself and keep bringing it up in any conversation you have.
This would help you understand.
