Batman is an icon we have all grown up with.
The recent movies have made the super hero popular again, and a whole new generation once again have learned to appreciate what this caped crusader is trying to do.
No wonder the parents are keen onĀ Batman costumes for their child to become the dark knight, and to go trick-or-treating in during Halloween.
In fact for any themed party for that matter.
Don't get in a dark alley with this guy! The inspiration for the dark knight stems back to the original comic in 1940, which tells the story of Two-Face and is the basis for the Batman we enjoy today.
Gotham City is being over run by criminals that are intent on discovering the true identity of Batman.
One villain especially, The Joker, tries many different ways to expose the "real Batman.
" We, the consumers of the movies and the comic are all too aware that the "real Batman" is indeed Bruce Wayne.
A billionaire, industrialist and an American playboy with all the wealth and the power to afford the cool toys, vehicles and costumes that make this character so iconic.
The costume he wears is instantly recognizable with the skin tight body suit and the cape.
Making a Batman costume is not a difficult thing to do, if you have a bit of sewing skill.
The hardest part is making the cape.
But for real authenticity, and to save yourself time, why not get yourself a real Batman costume.
Then you can amaze your friends.
Your kids will thank you for the effort.
Instead of looking slightly weird (perhaps), they will indeed be fearsome.
How many of you remember the days of dressing up like Batman? For a few hours all evil, and crime, is eradicated from Gotham City by your heroic acts.
As we grow older these memories fade, but will come back when we, once again, put on the Batman costume, and become the dark knight.
Now, where did I park the bat-car?
