How to Make Valentine's Day Love Coupons for Him

    • 1). Write a list of services on a plain piece of paper to determine how many coupons you need to create. Because the coupon book is for Valentine's Day only, include activities you can both do from morning till night, such as serving breakfast in bed, taking a bath together, giving a foot massage, helping him make lunch, picnic lunch in the park or shopping for lingerie for you.

    • 2). Cut red card stock into 4 or 5-inch wide and 8-inch long strips. Spread the sheets on a table and spray with mildly-scented perfume for added effect.

    • 3). Write the service of your choice in the center of each paper strip with black ink. Each coupon should start with a phrase such as "Good For" or "Redeemable For" so the recipient knows its intent. Ideas include "One Foot Massage," "One Private Bubble Bath," "Lingerie Shopping," "Massage," "One Nag-free Hour of Sports Watching," "Free Hug," "Free Kiss" and others your Valentine is sure to appreciate.

    • 4). Embellish each coupon with decorative accents. Glue a white, pink or red silk ribbon around the edges of each coupon to give it a finished appearance. Paste heart stickers or make hearts with glitter or gel pens across the front of each coupon. Decorate one coupon but don't write anything on it -- let your sweetheart write whatever he wants on the coupon.

    • 5). Arrange the coupons right-side up in your desired order, starting with those used in the morning and ending with coupons for the night. Place an empty coupon at the top and bottom. Punch a hole through the top and bottom left of the coupons with a hole punch.

    • 6). Decorate the cover of the coupon book. Cut and paste a picture of you and your sweetheart hugging or kissing on the center of the card stock strip. Write "___ (The recipient's name)'s Valentine Coupon Book" or "I Love You" under the picture. Draw tiny hearts around the edges of the cover sheet and color these maroon or pink so they stand out.

    • 7). Stack the coupons together, aligning the holes. Insert the ends of a length of decorative ribbon through both the holes and pull it up. Knot the ends in a decorative bow that falls on the cover strip.
