- 1). Launch iTunes on your computer and click "Music" in the left side bar.
- 2). Click "View" in the menu bar of the application window and select "View Options." A window appears displaying a list of items with checkboxes.
- 3). Select the checkboxes next to sort methods that are not alphabetical and interest you as good methods for organizing your music. For instance, the "Date Added," the "Play Count" and the "Beats per Minute" are all options that do not involve alphabetical order. Click "OK" when you have finished selecting sort options.
- 4). Scroll right in the "Music" pane to see the new sort options displayed along the top of the pane. Click one of the sort options that does not involve the alphabet to apply the order to your music library.
