DIY: Poison Ivy Costume

    Costume

    • 1). Glue a strand of artificial ivy to the leotard around each arm hole, around the neck and in a diagonal line across the middle. Use a separate piece of ivy for each part. The vine should look like it is wrapping around your body.

    • 2). Glue a strand of ivy around each leg of the leggings. Allow the glue to dry.

    • 3). Apply a line of glue on the outside of the belt. Press a strand of ivy onto the glue. Alternatively, wrap the ivy around the belt.

    • 4). Put on the leotard, leggings, gloves, belt and shoes or boots. Put the belt on so it sits on your hips.

    Hair and Make-up

    • 1). Spray your hair with the red temporary hair coloring spray. Cover your eyes before spraying. Ask someone to spray the back to ensure all your hair is colored.

    • 2). Draw a line along the bottom of your eyelid with eyeliner. Extend the line past your eye and draw a vine. Repeat with the other eye. Outline the vines past your eye with thin lines of green, orange and yellow eye shadow.

    • 3). Draw a thin line of orange eye shadow on your lower eyelids. Brush green eye shadow over both eyelids. Spread yellow eye shadow above the green and extend it to your eyebrow.
