Fabulous Ways to Include Feathers in Your Wedding!

So you've seen the rice thrown, the rose petals have been done, releasing butterflies isn't anything new, so how can you possibly make your wedding stand out as the most romantic and memorable event of the year?! Feathers! Feathers can add so much beauty, soft romance, vintage and even dramatic glamour into your big day.
It would be a shame to not include these in your decor.
But how? Well, let me count the ways my friends...
Getting back to the whole rice-throwing bit, why don't you try throwing feathers after the happy couple says 'I do?' Or, better yet, cover the aisle in soft feathers to add a dreamy feel.
Hairpieces are a great way to tie feathers into your wedding also! This is such a huge trend right now (aka feather fascinators) and in my opinion, so lovely that it's not going out of style for a very, very long time! You can also incorporate feathers onto the invitations to give your guests a great sneak-peak as to what's in store.
Feathers also make absolutely stunning dramatic centerpieces, especially when used in bright colors and all together.
You can also use feathers on a more low-key scale by just incorporating one or two in an vase or as an addition to a flower arrangement.
And speaking of flowers, why don't you try to take a different approach other than a floral bouquet? Try having bouquets and boutonnieres made from feathers.
This is such a great alternative for so many reasons: no floral allergies, they won't die or wilt, they are super unique and they last forever! Feather bouquets also happen to be all the rage right now and are usually much cheaper than fresh flower bouquets...
even when custom ordered! Don't be afraid to sprinkle your personality and creativity all over your wedding, it is after all, YOUR day! Be sure when doing something like this, to tie it together.
For example, if you want beautiful white and ivory peacock feathers in your feather bouquet and in the grooms boutonniere, why not tie some of these peacock feathers around the unity candle with a pretty ribbon.
Or have a cake topper that incorporates white and ivory peacock feathers.
You could also sprinkle these unique feathers all over the dessert table or dance floor! You could also stick loose peacock feathers into the floral centerpieces.
Personally, I think it would be a beautiful touch to collect different tall glass vases and put a single bleached peacock feather in each one all over the room with candles.
It's a simple, beautiful and inexpensive way to make a dramatic, classy and stylish statement! You can get so many more ideas for ways to incorporate feathers into your wedding and also learn about feather bouquets and accessories, including custom orders at www.
