How to Make a Bathtub White

    • 1). Put on a pair of protective gloves.

    • 2). Fill a plastic bottle sprayer with two parts water and one part bleach.

    • 3). Wet the bathtub.

    • 4). Spray the bleach and water solution evenly over the bathtub surface. Allow the bleach to break up mildew stains for 15 minutes.

    • 5). Scrub the bleach solution in short, circular motions with a nylon-bristled brush.

    • 6). Rinse the bleach from the tub.

    • 7). Mix baking soda and water so it forms a paste. Use a sponge to work the mixture into hard stains on the bathtub.

    • 8). Rinse the baking soda from the bathtub and reapply the baking soda mixture if necessary.
