- 1). Clean the grill completely using a scrubbing pad or grill scraper.
- 2). Ensure the burner controls are set to the off position.
- 3). Open the grill lid and turn on the gas supply from the valve on the gas tank.
- 4). Turn the ignition burner to high, simultaneously pushing the ignition button until you hear a gentle "whoosh," which is the sound of the gas turning on. If it is wintertime and it is cold outside, turn on the gas and let the gas tank pressurize for one minute before igniting the burners.
- 5). Turn on the second burner, if needed.
