How to Make a Message Board

    • 1). Navigate to the Forumer website in the Resources section. Choose an interface from the three popular Forumer options. PhpBB3, phpBB2 and IPB are forum interfaces which predefine the look, feel and operation of your forum.

    • 2). Click the orange "Signup Today" button next to the option you choose.

    • 3). Choose a forum name. Pick something that is related to the subject of your forum. Enter the email address that you will use a forum administrator.

    • 4). Enter the captcha code. Read and sign the "Terms of Use." This document includes rules and regulations that your forum must abide by.

    • 5). Check the email in-box that you used to register for the forum. Reply within 48 hours to the activation email. Copy the security code in the e-mail and click on the link. Enter a category and sub-category using the drop down menu in the forum listing service.

    • 6). Choose a User Name for your forum and the support forum. Choose a password to use with the account. Paste the security code into the security code box. Print the "Forum Created" page for your records.

    • 7). Sign into your new forum with the Web address sent in your confirmation e-mail. Read the FAQ located at the top right of the dashboard.

    • 8). Make a post welcoming members to your community. Sticky the post so it can be seen upon entering the forum. Make a "usergroup" to easily divide the forum topics into manageable areas.

    • 9). Select a moderator to help you run the forum. Add this person before the boards become public.
