- 1). Launch your email application.
- 2). Create a new email message. Attach a music file to the message. Depending on your email application, you might click on "Attachment" and then select the music file from your hard drive, or drag the music file from its folder into the email message window. The iPod touch's Mail app can play a variety of attached audio file formats, including MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF.
- 3). Type the address of your recipient into the "To" field, or click on the address from your contacts list to add it to the "To" field.
- 4). Click "Send."
- 1). Tap the "Mail" icon on the iPod touch's home screen to launch the Mail app.
- 2). Tap the mailbox of the account to which a music file has been sent. A list of email messages will appear.
- 3). Tap the message that has an attached music file. The message window will open.
- 4). Tap the name of the attached music file in the body of the email message. The music file will open and start playing. Tap the "Pause" icon to pause playback, and tap the "Play" icon to resume playback.
