Measure out 3 cups of powdered milk. Milk is the ingredient that soothes and moisturizes your skin. Place the powdered milk into a large mixing bowl.

Add 1/4 cup of oatmeal to the powdered milk. Oatmeal naturally exfoliates, and it further aids in soothing dry skin.

Add 1/4 cup of dried orris root to the bowl. Powdered orris root is available at any health food store. Orris root helps in improving the elasticity of your skin.

Add 1/3 cup of cornstarch to the bowl. Cornstarch soothes chaffed skin.

Add 1/3 cup of almond meal to the bowl. To make almond meal, use a blender to grind almonds until they are powdered. Break open a vitamin E capsule and add the oil to the mixture. Mix all of the ingredients thoroughly.

Divide the mixture into three even parts. Place the parts of the mixture into the muslin bags. Tie a rubber band or a string around the tops of the cloths to secure them.

Drop one of the muslin bags under running hot water when you draw your bath.
