I need to let you know, I was almost driven insane by those scary, hairy house centipedes.
They both grossed me out and startled me simultaneously, all the time jetting across the carpet and up walls and such...
It went without question that I needed to get rid of centipedes ASAP, but I nevertheless had to take care of a small number of challenges beforehand.
The primary problem was that though my wife totally loathed these filthy centipedes, she totally does not believe in killing.
All right, so you may feel that's silly (or not), but I owned a part in this crisis, too.
Understand, whilst our home's centipede invasion dilemma was at its climax, our little one was just one year old.
And we all know how one-year-olds are.
Always interested in all things within their environment.
So we mutually decided that misting toxic chemicals in and around the place as a way to get rid of centipedes was far from being worth the health risks to our boy.
However, we could not give up and do nothing, just watching those ghastly, dangerous little creeps continue taking over our place, either.
It looked as though our conclusion was going to be a case of choosing the lesser of 2 evils.
Would we let malicious, multi-legged monsters rush all throughout our home at a freaky, fast speed, turning our backs on the menace of us or our little one getting bitten in our sleep? Or would we attempt to get rid of house centipedes in a dangerous, and an incredibly high-priced method, by way of extermination? As you can guess, we were absolutely elated when we found a chemical-free and kill-free way to get rid of centipedes virtually overnight! To make matters even better, the method we discovered lasts forever! Unfortunately, at this time I am unable to share every little detail of the strategy with you, mainly because there is quite a bit of information to take in, and we won't be able to hardly scratch the surface in one article.
However, I am happy to share with you the primary principle of the strategy my family followed to get rid of our house centipede problem once and for all.
That principle is this: Cut them off! That is the absolute bottom line.
Cut them off from all food options.
Cut them off from anything they find comfortable (you will need to learn what these things are).
This is honestly the only way to really free yourself from house centipedes fast and for good.
This entails making a few changes around your home, such as drying up some inherently wet areas in and around the house.
In addition, you will be solving other pest problems, as it is critical to also remove roaches, spiders, and larva from your home as quickly as possible.
These are the primary food sources for house centipedes.
There is actually a whole methodology that embraces the art of cutting centipedes off from the things they need to survive.
I will provide you with a link momentarily.
But first, I would just like to let you know that my family and I are currently going on almost 11 months without a single house centipede sighting.
We never blew our money on extermination.
We never subjected our son to toxic chemicals.
