- 1). Start your Wii and use the remote to load the "Homebrew Channel."
- 2). Point and press "A" on the wireless connection symbol in the bottom-right corner. This will search for updates to the "Homebrew Channel." Follow the on-screen instructions and install any updates to this channel. The updates will prevent any errors with the 4.0U menu.
- 3). Download the newest version of the WAD Manager from the Quick Jump Gaming Network. The newest version removes known errors and allows the installation of WADs on both the Wii and the SD card channel.
- 4). Save the WAD channel installation to your desktop. Insert your Wii's SD card into a reader on the Wii console. Drag and drop the application folder into the "apps" folder on the SD card.
- 5). Create a folder on the root of the SD card labeled "wads." Add any WAD installation files to this folder.
- 6). Remove the SD card and put it back to the Wii. Restart the Wii console and load the "Homebrew Channel" again.
- 7). Point and select the "WAD Manager" from the "Homebrew Channel."
- 8). Press "A" to select the "SD Card" to load from. Use the D-pad to choose the WAD file that you want to install. Press "A" again and wait for the WAD installation to complete.
- 9). Go back to the Wii menu and check to make sure the WAD installed correctly. Repeat this process for any future WADS.
