How to Clean Mudd Sandals

    • 1). Put on the gloves if desired. Use the scrub brush to quickly brush over the bottoms and tops of the sandals outside in order to get rid of any large chunks of dirt and debris.

    • 2). Fill the sink with warm to hot water. Add laundry detergent, stir around the water to produce bubbles, and mix in the soap.

    • 3). Set the Mudd sandals into the soapy mixture. Move them around for a couple of moments, than let them sit under water for five minutes. Take them out and set them on a clean towel.

    • 4). Empty the sink of water after five minutes if it becomes very dirty and murky. Refill the sink with warm water, and add the soap again as you did in Step 2. Place the Mudd sandals back under water.

    • 5). Use the scrub brush on the bottom, top and sides of the Mudd sandals to get rid of oils, dirt and debris. Do this until they are clean.

    • 6). Drain the dirty water out of the sink, and set the sandals on a clean towel. Rub them with the towel in order to get them dry and to remove even more oils or dirt.

    • 7). Set them aside to dry. If you dry them inside, it will take anywhere from four to seven days to dry. If they dry outside in the sun, they may be dry after a couple of days.
