• Academy of Art University offers three degree programs at its online School of Fashion--a Master of Fine Arts degree, Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and Associate of Arts degree. The school focuses on fashion design, visual merchandising, textiles and other basic concepts of fashion design and construction. Students are expected to use design, computer skills and studio time to create a professional fashion portfolio or collection. • The International Academy of Design & Technology offers an online Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising. • Students can earn an associate's degree or bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising at Westwood College's online School of Business. The associate's degree takes 20 months to complete, and the bachelor's degree three years. Classes include fashion product development, trend forecasting and portfolio review. Students also gain an understanding of marketing principles, fashion advertising, consumer behavior and and other aspects related to the business side of fashion.
