How to Clean Stainless Steel Kitchenware

    • 1). Maintain stainless steel appliances by wiping daily with warm water and a soft cloth. Use gentle pressure to remove mild stains and loose soils.

    • 2). Make your own solvent. Fill a spray bottle with a mixture of 50 percent rubbing alcohol and 50 percent water. This cleaning solvent removes fresh fingerprints, oils or grease.

    • 3). Avoid spraying solvent directly on stainless steel. Spray solvent on a clean, soft cloth and wipe the appliance.

    • 4). Rinse with clean water and a fresh, dry wipe or cloth.

    • 5). Clean regularly. Stainless steel cannot be worn down from cleaning and will be easier to maintain with regular removal of dirt and grease.
