- 1). Keep a wet sponge and a spray bottle filled with half water and half white vinegar handy when dying your hair. Spray any stains and wipe them away as soon as possible, before they have time to set.
- 2). Sprinkle tougher stains with baking soda. If the stain is on a wall, dampen it first and then apply baking soda so it will stick. Spray with vinegar mixture and wait until the fizzing stops. Scrub the stains with an old toothbrush until gone. Rinse well.
- 3). Mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide into a paste. Apply the past to any tile grout that's been stained by hair dye. Scrub with a toothbrush. Allow the mixture to dry and then wipe away with a wet towel. Repeat if some dye remains.
