Snack time is the most challenging time for any mom. Junk and snacks are considered as same. It is seen that something that is healthy or looks healthy is refused by kids. There are some excellent snacks that are protein rich and they are absorbed by the body. Protein plays a major role in building the immune system of the body apart from building strong muscles and bones.

Spaghetti with peas sauce and Bacon:

* Spaghetti, streaky bacon with the rind removed and sliced
* Fresh or frozen peas, olive oil, thin cream(300 ml)
* Chipped parsley, crushed garlic cloves.
* Grated Parmesan cheese and cheese.
First, cook the pasta in either salt water, boiling water or as per the instructions given on the pack. Drain the excess water thoroughly and then add some olive oil. Take a large and heat oil and add bacon, cook until they are crisp and golden. After this add garlic to taste, peas and simple cheese. Stir this mixture on low heat until the cheese melts. Add a lot of salt and black pepper as part of the seasoning. Now add half of the cooked mixture to parmesan and other half of the mixture to parsley. Later add to it, cooked spaghetti. Serve the dish with left over cheese and parsley, sprinkle little olive oil on top.

Tuna Sandwich:
The ingredients that are required for the Tuna Sandwich are:
* Tuna (6 ounces)
* Whole wheat bread, Mayonnaise
* Sweet relish, crushed pineapple
* Mustard, Ground cinnamon and Celery stalk.
First combine relish, mayonnaise, celery, tuna, cinnamon, pineapple and mustard and mix them well. Later take two bread slices and then spread enough amount of tuna mixture on it. Top that with the other slices of bread and set it aside. Coat a medium-sized skillet with cooking spray. Grill the sandwich for about three minutes, on each of the two sides, or until browned. Serve it hot with ketchup.
