I found out about this campground in Trailer Life, and I RV camped there in June 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
The campground is immaculate. The spaces are large. There are pull-throughs (about 35' wide by 70' long) and back-ins (about 35' wide by 45' long), so they can accommodate any size RV. The spaces are separated by large, well-manicured, grassy areas, and there are plenty of mature shade trees to help keep you cool.
Don't worry, there are spaces with good southern views for satellite access, too. The best part is that there's a stream that runs right through the middle of the place, so when you're walking around, you feel more like you're in a park than in a campground. Tim and Janet, the owners, are wonderful, and go out of their way to make your stay a comfortable one. After spending almost two weeks there, we feel like part of the family, and look forward to staying there again.
Pros: Clean, well-maintained facilities, large level spaces, free Wi-Fi, quiet environment, friendly helpful owners, close to town.
Cons: none
Nearby attractions: Bannack State Park (ghost town), Clark Canyon Reservoir, golf, fishing, hunting, skiing and snowboarding (winter).
Further comments:
This is a great place to stay.
