Blocked Dispenser

• One reason the detergent may get stuck in a GE Profile dishwasher dispenser is if the dispenser cannot open. Overloading the dishwasher or placing large items in front of the dispenser are common reasons the dispenser won't open as designed. Load the dishwasher so that large items are in the rear or on the sides, and check the dispenser before closing the door to make sure it can open during the cycle.
