How to Dry Clean Drapery

    • 1). Spray any spots or stains on your drapes with a dry-cleaning upholstery spray and allow it to sit for the amount of time recommended by the manufacturer, usually five minutes.

    • 2). Wipe the drapes with a clean white cloth.

    • 3). Toss the drapes into the dryer with a fabric softener sheet. Dry it on a "no-heat" setting for 10 minutes to freshen the fabric and remove any dirt, dust or pet hair.

    • 4). Remove the drapes from the dryer and shake them out before hanging them back up.
