Be wary this year, Ratso. Rabbits have a few tricks up their furry sleeves for you. Traditionally, the Rabbit is an outwitter, a strategist and a fugitive from conflict. You prefer facing things head-on. It’s a mismatch if ever I saw one.

Your survival this year depends on your ability to fool the sneaky Rabbit into thinking that you are playing it cool. He will stalk you, hunt you down and cast a pall of disapproval over your efforts at reaping joy and sensuality.

He will never confront you. His methods are more subtle and involve outsmarting you.

Business is good in Rabbit years, but misunderstandings are rife. It’s probably a good time for you to take a sabbatical. Get out of town. Go and do creative work requiring no money and plenty of savvy. Rabbits approve of Rats who know a lot. They even like to pick their fertile brains for information on how better to skirt danger and profit from duping unsuspecting citizens.

Despite spending the year more or less on the lam, you Rats could benefit financially. Those artifacts you found buried in the desert or the paintings or fiction you produced may be worth some money. You will find out when you return in the Dragon year 2012 -- a more favorable year for Rats all around.
