The F400 dual slider handset, first rumoured back in February, has been confirmed by Samsung! Unsurprisingly, it's a very good looking phone and is clearly targeted at music lovers.
The handset features ICEpower from Bang & Olufsen.
If you're not familiar with ICEpower technology, its aim is to deliver the best performance, efficiency and power density in audio.
If Bang & Olufsen aim to create the best in audio, chances are it's going to be pretty special.
An obvious feature of the handset is the large slide-out speaker at the top.
This looks similar to the one on the Samsung Serenta and i450.
The Samsung F400 also comes with music recognition, a comprehensive audio library function, FM radio, Samsung's Digital Natural Sound Engine and other music-related features, making this phone essential for any music aficionado.
If the music playing capability of the phone isn't enough, the rest of the Samsung F400 won't disappoint either.
Lurking inside its sleek, metallic exterior is a powerhouse of functionality.
The 3-megapixel camera has auto-focus and an LED flash.
The F400 is an HSDPA capable 3.
5G device with a maximum download speed of 3.
6 Mbps.
It also supports GPRS and EDGE data, plus 2100 MHz UMTS and tri-band GSM.
Although the Samsung F400 appears to be aimed at the European market (and will first be released in France), it will be released in the US, Asia and the Middle East shortly after.
