- Tennessee is known for music, and Memphis is certainly no exception. Even though Elvis and Graceland are often the first Memphis icons to come to mind, music fans can enjoy many genres ranging from old-school country to blues at a variety of nightclubs.
- Club 152, in the heart of Memphis, is three floors packed with entertainment options. Each floor offers a different type of music, live music and the hottest DJs in the city, along with two full-service bars.
Not all floors are open during the week, but the first floor is open seven days a week, and features live music, beginning at 6 p.m. Open at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, the second floor is an entirely different experience, featuring popular hip hop. The lounge-like second floor features an all-female staff, dance floor, and candlelit tables to add to the atmosphere. The third floor is open Friday and Saturday, with a top Memphis DJ.

bbkingclubs.com - Opened in 1986, Alfred's was the first area nightclub to feature rock and roll rather than the more popular blues. The tradition of live music has been kept alive since that time and Alfred's now features a variety of live music. Acoustic bands, solo artists, dance bands, and even karaoke singers can be found throughout the week, and a 17-piece Big Band orchestra plays each Sunday night.
Home to the largest gold-record collection in the United States, and an Elvis photo collection, Alfred's is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Open Tuesday through Sunday for dancing, a private room is available that can accommodate up to 600 people. Friday is ladies' night, offering drink specials for the ladies throughout the night.
