- 1). Vacuum off the surface of the sofa with a hand vacuum or a full-sized vacuum's brush attachment. This will remove any pet hair, food crumbs and general dirt and debris.
- 2). Combine 2 tbsp. liquid dish soap and 3 cups warm water in a small bucket.
- 3). Dampen a white hand towel in the mixture. Wring out the majority of the liquid until the cloth is damp, not soaking wet.
- 4). Wipe down the entire surface of the pleather couch with the mixture.
- 5). Wet a hand towel under cool water and wring out the excess liquid.
- 6). Wipe down the pleather couch to remove the soapy water.
- 7). Dry off the surface of the couch with a clean towel. Dry in between the couch cushions to ensure all the liquid is removed.
- 8). Cover the pleather couch with a thin layer of leather conditioner. Work the conditioner into the pleather couch and wipe it away with a hand towel.
