Named for its abundance of red cedar trees, Cedartown, Georgia, is located in the far northwestern corner of the state, near the borders of Alabama, Tennessee and North Carolina. Downtown Cedartown is listed in the National Register of Historic Places for its 1890s architecture, and the town is home to the largest Southern natural limestone spring. Situated on the Silver Comet Trail, the Rock RV Park provides water and electrical hookups, a fishing lake and running creek, tent sites, bathrooms, picnic tables, a pavilion, a stage area and a vintage farm-implement museum.
Camping sites also are available, and nearby activities include hiking, biking and swimming. Various music festivals, such as the Bluegrass Music Festival in May, perform at the RV park. Coots Lake, located a few miles from the park, provides additional camping and swimming opportunities.
