georgetown.edu - As the only four-year institution accredited in the arts in Washington, D.C., the Corcoran College of Art and Design offers an expansive selection of coursework in visual arts, as well as other art-related fields. The private college offers undergraduate and graduate courses to its student body of a little more than 500 students, as of 2010. Matriculated students choose among fine arts programs in ceramics, drawing, paint and sculpture, among several others. The school also offers associate degree programs in select areas of study, including photography. In addition to graduate degree programs, Corcoran also has dual-degree programs in which students concurrently work toward achieving bachelor's and master's degrees.
