How to Uninstall Software in OSX

    • 1). Launch "Finder" from the docking bar. Click on "Applications" on the left panel of the window.

    • 2). Scroll through the applications until you see the software you want to uninstall. When you find it, right-click and select "Move To Trash," or click on it and drag and drop it in the trash.

    • 3). Open the trash bin from the docking bar. Click on the "Empty" button to permanently delete the software from the trash bin.

    • 4). Click on your user name under the "Places" section on the left panel of the "Finder" window. Click on "Library" to view the programs with preference folders. If you see one for the program you uninstalled, right-click on it and select "Move To Trash," or click on it and drag and drop it in the trash. Empty the trash bin to finish the complete uninstall.
