  Table Rock Lake, located a few miles outside Branson, Missouri, is a 52,300 acre lake with 800 miles of shoreline. The lake was created in 1958 when the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers built a dam and flooded the valley. Today Table Rock Lake has become a world class fishing location, as well as aquatic paradise for boaters, scuba divers, and campers. The Corps of Engineers operates 13 nearby campgrounds, while various private entrepreneurs offer a host of other options.
  
  

Table Rock State Park

• One of the most popular lake camping spots can be found at the Table Rock State Park. There are two separate camping areas nestled amidst the oak and hickory trees, and within a short walk to the lake. Choose a basic site or one that includes electric, sewer and water. Modern restrooms, showers, and coin-operated laundry round out the list of amenities. The on-site public marina offers rentals of all sorts, including ski boats, Jet Skis, pontoons, and fishing gear. Rates for a basic campsite start at $10 nightly. Full service sites are about double that fee, depending upon the season.

Antler's Resort and Campgrounds

• This camping area is located right along the shore of Table Rock Lake, off the beaten path of massive Branson traffic but close enough to attractions and dining when the urge arises. Antler's offers guests a choice of camping cabins, as well as full hookup campsites. Go to either the lake or pool for water activities or relaxing. Picnic tables, grills, showers, laundry, and a boat dock are available for the use of guests. The campground costs $25 nightly.

Branson Stagecoach

• The Branson Stagecoach goes all out with an onslaught of amenities to make the RV'er or camper feel like they have absolutely everything they need. In addition to standards like shower and laundry, the Stagecoach offers free cable television, free wireless Internet, a swap library, restaurant on site, and even car rental. For this campground, you need to have an RV or trailer of some sort since they don't allow tent camping. Rates for a full service hookup are $26 per night.
