The complete TV series of 24 took off like a wild fire. This is why I thought a review was in order for individuals who have not watched it. It is something you will enjoy.

It is an action series that takes place in real time of 24 hours, this aspect keeps your eyes grilled to your television set and your bottom stuck to your chair, for fear of missing a piece of action. Special, agent Jack Bauer is always running against the clock. A clock is consistently displayed on the screen, so you can feel the urgency of each task perform, and count down with agent Bauer. This keeps the viewers engaged with every task at hand.

Jack Bauer played by Kiefer Sutherland, I believe a part that was made for him, is a special agent who attempts to stop national security threats against America. His job is to, fight against terrorist acts, and to find individuals responsible. Some of the attempts made were presidential assignation, chemical threats, nuclear bomb threats and much more. Remember the clock is always ticking against agent Jack Bauer, so time is of the essence. Some of his methods of resolution are not always defined, as politically correct acts within the frame work, as a special agent and has some serious battles with his superiors. But he does get the job done.

In the middle of the season, Jack Bauer is believed to be dead, and decides to come out of hiding when friends end up dead, and he is framed by terrorist. Individuals are threatening to let go lethal nerve gas, in Los Angeles to protest a treaty that is about to be signed. There is much more to this season that will keep you intrigued.

Some have said that aspects of 24 hours are discriminatory, that highlights other countries and people in a stereotypical theme. But I must say that you need to watch it for yourself, to make that determination. I believe it shows the amount of terrorist acts that we as humans are capable of. But with that said, it is an exhilarating show that will keep you wanting more.

The show 24 was the longest running theme drama television series ever. It won many awards over the eight seasons on television, like Best Drama Series, and Outstanding Drama Series. Kiefer Sutherland won an Emmy Award for his acting as Jack Bauer.
