- 1). Cut the flaps off of a small cardboard box.
- 2). Cover three sides of the box with brown construction paper strips, laying the strips vertically and taping the ends to the inside and bottom of the box.
- 3). Weave brown construction paper strips horizontally through the vertical strips to create a basket-like effect.
- 4). Attach the side of the box without any construction paper to the board with thumbtacks.
- 5). Staple the ends of a long strip of construction paper to the two ends of the box to create a handle.
- 1). Fold a piece of construction paper into the shape of a cone and secure the cone shape with tape.
- 2). Punch two holes on opposites sides of the opening of the cone, approximately one inch down.
- 3). Cut an eight-inch piece of yarn and tie each end to one of the holes to make a handle.
- 4). Decorate the cone to finish the basket.
- 5). Staple the middle of the yarn handle to the bulletin board to allow it to hang.
- 1). Cut a piece of poster board into three pieces that are six inches wide by four inches tall, and another piece four inches by four inches.
- 2). Fold each end of the six inch by four inch pieces to create a one-inch flap.
- 3). Glue one flap from a six inch by four inch piece to the back of the four inch by four inch piece, making sure the ends are flush. Repeat on the opposite side of the four inch by four inch piece with another six inch by four inch piece.
- 4). Staple the flaps on the other end of the two six inch by four inch pieces on the bulletin board to create the basic basket shape.
- 5). Glue the flaps from the final six inch by four inch piece onto the bottom edges of the other six inch by four inch pieces to create the bottom of the basket.
- 6). Cut an eight inch strip from poster board and staple it to the sides of the basket to create a handle.
