- Soapy water works perfectly as an all-purpose cleaning product for Corian counters. In a spray bottle, mix two cups of water with three tablespoons of liquid dish detergent. Spray onto counter surfaces and wipe clean with a moist sponge. Repeat as necessary, as this is most times all that is required to keep your counters clean, polished and looking their best.
- Ammonia also works effectively in cleaning Corian counters. In a spray bottle, mix a solution of one part water, one part ammonia. Spray onto counter tops and wipe clean with a damp sponge. The ammonia will work to clean and disinfect the counters without causing any damage to the Corian surface. Use as an all-purpose disinfectant spray, especially after raw foods come into contact with the counter surface.
- Vinegar is another inexpensive element that disinfects and deodorizes Corian safely. In a spray bottle, mix two cups water with one cup white vinegar. Spray onto counters and wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge. Use as needed as a disinfectant and deodorizing spray, which is especially useful when foods like fish come into contact with counter tops, which can sometimes leave a foul, fishy smell behind. Vinegar also leaves a lovely, streak-free shine on Corian counters.
