"Natalie Brooks Secret of Treasure House" is a hidden object game. The game follows a story format. Natalie inherits her grandmother's house, which contains a hidden treasure. To find it, Natalie has to solve clues, find hidden objects, and walk through the story. Although the game is easy to play, a few tips will make help you have a more successful gaming experience. - Find all the picture pieces before clicking on the last object in your list. The game is set up to move on to the next frame in the story automatically once you've collected every hidden object on your list. The player must also collect picture pieces to solve additional clues. If you click on the last item in the list before collecting all the picture pieces, you will miss your opportunity to find the pictures. Instead, leave at least one object in the list until all picture pieces are found.
- Take the time to talk to each character in the room. You will get different hints at different times from each. If you get stuck, backtrack and talk to each character. Often, you will receive a clue that helps you move forward in the game.
- Some objects are meant to interact with each other. If you have a hidden object on the list that you can't find, try taking items out of inventory and using them on other items. The usage rules will always make sense in the real world. For example, a light bulb would be screwed into a light socket, a screwdriver would be used on a screw, and so on.
- There are several sections within the game that require the use of numbers and codes. These can be rather confusing.
- Use your cursor to help find items to place in your inventory. If you move the mouse around inside the room, some objects will highlight yellow. These inventory objects typically hold something inside or require another object to open them and reveal one of the hidden items from your list.
- Look for question marks on each level. Clicking on a question mark will give you another hint. There are typically two question marks per level. Remember that when you click on the last item on your hidden object list, the screen will advance to the next level. Leave one object on the list until you've found all your question marks and puzzle pieces.
