Grilling has become a phenomenon in the world today.
It's hard to walk by any house that doesn't have at least a propane grill on their back deck or in their backyard.
You can find people grilling on beaches, while tailgating before and after football games, and at basically any outside function.
But grilling today doesn't have to be relegated to outside.
There are many people who don't have the luxury of a backyard or even a back deck.
They may be living in an apartment or a condo where there are regulations that prohibit grilling on an outside patio or deck.
There is an awesome option for those people who can't grill outside.
It is called an indoor electric barbecue grill.
I witnessed the mouth-watering results of using an electric barbecue grill when we were visiting my in-laws who happen to own a beautiful oceanfront condominium.
What is ironic is that their deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is big enough to store 10 propane grills but there are regulations established by the condo association that strictly prohibit any type of grilling on that deck.
So my father-in-law, being a pretty resourceful man, decided that this regulation wouldn't stop him from grilling his favorite meals.
He purchased an indoor electric barbecue grill and has been using it for years in this condo.
He grilled up some wonderful rib-eye steaks for us when we were there and, if you had given me a blind taste test, I would've thought that I was eating a steak straight off of an outside charcoal or propane grill.
The taste was spectacular but what was most impressive were the cross hatch sear marks that looked like these steaks came from a high-end steak house.
What I learned was that an electric barbecue grill heats up much quicker than a charcoal or a propane grill.
As a result, when you place the steaks on the grill, you garner a wonderful sear on the steak which really seals in the juices leading to a very tender meat.
The proof was in the results and the results were amazing.
If you are one of those grilling lovers relegated to an apartment or a condo, an investment in an indoor electric barbecue grill is well worth your hard-earned money.
You can still whip up your favorite grilled meals in the comfort of your own apartment or condo with a versatile indoor electric grill!
