- 1). Soak cleaned sugar canes in a tank with potassium at about 0.1 percent concentration and citric acid at about 0.1 percent concentration for two to four hours.
- 2). Remove sugar canes from potassium-citric acid mixture. Wash canes with plain water.
- 3). Crush canes using a mechanical crushing device to obtain the juice from the sugarcane.
- 4). Add organic acid at a concentration of 0.1 to 0.5 percent.
- 5). Filter juice using a microfiltration unit.
- 6). Fill juice into glass bottles.
- 7). Put bottles into a boiler at 160 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 30 seconds.
- 8). Place in cooler at 35 degrees Fahrenheit until cold.
- 1). Put sugarcane juice into the product pumps of a Flash Pasteurization Machine. The balance tank will measure the amount of sugarcane for flash pasteurization.
- 2). Turn the product temperature control to 160 degrees F in the oil fired boiler and heat the sugarcane for 15 to 30 seconds.
- 3). Turn the temperature control to around 35 degrees F to cool the sugarcane.
- 4). Place the sugarcane juice in glass bottles.
