- 1). Log into your Hotmail email account.
- 2). Click on the "Contacts" tab. It is listed on the left-hand side of the page.
- 3). Click on "Tools" and then "Search Directories." Choose a Hotmail directory to search and click on it.
- 4). Type in the information of the person you are searching for. Click on "Submit" and wait for MSN to finish searching their directory using your searching criteria.
