Vivian and Gus
Vivian’s servant, Gus, reveals that Carly Manning has been arrested. “Tell me more,” implores a delighted Vivian. He believes Carly will be extradited very soon. Vivian remarks how interesting it is that Carly may be rejoining them in their corner of the world. She is surprised how quickly the authorities were able to zero in on Carly. She orders Gus to pack her bag and insists that they have to wipe that woman off the face of the earth.
Carly’s Arrest
At the Kiriakis mansion, Hope urges Justin to come to the station right away with her.
Bo visits Carly in jail after battling it out with Interpol, but no progress. She wants to know who told the authorities she was in Salem.
Afterwards, Lawrence grabs Carly behind and warns her that there’s no way out. She demands for him to let her go. He vows to make her pay for his death, then disappears.
Meanwhile, Bo tells Agent Cobb that the prisoner’s identity should be kept under wraps, then asks when Carly is going to be extradited. Hope and Justin arrive. “Which one of you turned her in?” confronts Bo, laying into them for putting Carly in danger since people want her dead. Justin denies turning Carly in. Hope reveals that someone called her about it, but Bo is dubious.
Bo warns Agent Cobb that the moment Carly shows up in her country, she’ll be dead. Justin agrees to go meet with Carly. “Now hold on! Carly needs a lawyer she can trust!” insists Bo. Justin tells Bo to stop being a jack*ss about the situation and to stop playing savior with Carly’s life.

He gloats how he had a “wonderful” conversation with Arianna, who didn’t seem to have any idea Rafe was coming back. Rafe tells him to stay the hell away from his sister. E.J. affirms that he and Sami share a child, and there’s nothing Rafe can do about it. Rafe reiterates his warning for E.J. to stay away from his sister, then walks off. E.J. says he’s sorry, but Arianna’s dealing for him now.
Sami’s Place
Sami has just told Nicole that Rafe is back in town. An ecstatic Sami tells Nicole not to let anyone know he’s back, since he’s working on some important case which involves their future. Nicole insists that this can’t happen and asks why he came back. Sami surmises that it’s because Rafe missed her and they were meant to be together. Nicole continues to probe Sami about the case, wondering if Sami asked Rafe to explain it. Sami wonders why Nicole is being so negative. Nicole claims she’s just trying to protect Sami and wonders what she thinks Rafe is up to. Sami doesn’t know and doesn’t care, stating that she’s happy. Nicole warns that Rafe is going to ruin everything.
Sami wonders what Rafe is going to ruin. “Your life, Sami,” replies Nicole. Sami insists that Rafe is back because he wants to be with her. She expresses how she’s happy and relieved and can’t understand why Nicole is trying to upset her. Nicole counters that she’s trying to be real and admits she doesn’t trust Rafe. Sami assumes that Nicole doesn’t trust Rafe because she doesn’t get along with the former FBI agent. “He will convince you to kick Sydney and me to the curb,” Nicole predicts. Sami agrees to let Nicole stay there as long as she wants, trying to convince Nicole that she would never kick her out and Rafe would never ask her to. “He’s a better person than that!” expresses Sami.
Nicole mentions how Rafe still won’t tell Sami about what happened to his fiancé. Sami can’t believe Nicole is bringing that up. Nicole rehashes how Rafe walked out on Sami without saying goodbye, wondering if he told Sami where he went. Sami says no, but affirms that she trusts Rafe and loves him, and she’s happy he’s back. “You know what Sami, I really hope that you take my advice. Otherwise, a lot of lives will be destroyed,” warns Nicole before she leaves. Outside the door, Nicole assures Sydney that she won’t let Rafe take her away, then strolls off.
Rafe soon returns, and Sami asks how his case went. He says there’s been a slight delay and proposes to wait in his favorite place with his favorite person. He kisses her. Sami informs him that E.J. was there earlier. Rafe reveals that he ran into E.J. on the pier and hopes it won’t be a problem. Sami quips how E.J. must’ve been thrilled to see Rafe. “Especially when I told him you and I were back together,” confirms Rafe. Sami confesses that she just told one person, rambling how she was just excited and had to tell someone. Rafe asks who she told. “Nicole,” reveals Sami.
Rafe chews Sami out for telling Nicole, warning her that she could’ve sabotaged the whole thing. Sami insists that Nicole won’t say anything because she’s her friend. “She is not your friend, okay, Sami! And she is the last person that should know that I am in town!” he retorts. Sami points out that E.J. knows, and Rafe isn’t getting all worked up about that. Rafe proceeds to just tell Sami the truth about everything.
