If you are like me then you often watch the weather channel, and when I do, I seriously wonder why anyone would want to live anywhere else than in Southern California.
I mean sure we have a few earthquakes now and again, and yes, we get some wildfires up in the surrounding mountains, but Southern California has some of the best weather on Planet Earth.
One of the best climates rated world-wide happens to be San Diego area, and if you ever visit you'll know what.
I got to thinking about this the other day, and it occurred to me that the reason folks live places other than Southern California is simple; they've never been to our area.
Fortunately, it's never too late to get out of the sweltering heat in your area and come out to the California Coast.
And if you are experiencing the ice and snow storms in the winter - well, stop shoveling that stuff and come to where the weather is always a nice temp.
Now then, why not take a week and head out to California? There are so many great places to stay, but I know what you are saying; "we are in a recession and a California Vacation just isn't in our budget this year," and to that I say baloney.
You see, you can get a super deal right now, as the recession has provided lots of opportunity for budget travelers.
And if you happen to be in the wealthier "upper middle class" - whoorah! You are in luck, why not stay for a month or two.
Seriously, it won't cost you all that much, and you'll love every minute of it.
You see, maybe a Southern California Vacation is in your future, and why not, you deserve it.
Why? Because you've endured long enough, you've worked hard, paid off some credit card debt, and are even increasing your savings.
Now is the time to reward yourself for a job well done in the sunny San Diego area.
Perhaps, you might rent a timeshare, stay in a Condo Rental, or choose from one of the many Vacation Rentals available.
There are some super deals being offered in Carlsbad California and that is just outside of San Diego, without the traffic.
It's close to Del Mar Horse Race Track, Legoland, and even Sea World San Diego.
