- 1). Prevent fresh Bic ink stains from spreading by applying a solution of half ammonia/half hydrogen peroxide around the stain. Use plain hydrogen peroxide if your clothes are made from natural fibers.
- 2). Pre-treat large ink stains with a small amount of rubbing alcohol or hairspray. Blot the stains with a clean cloth until they have disappeared, adding more alcohol or hairspray as necessary. Pre-treat light ink stains with a stain remover or laundry detergent, allowing it to set for several minutes.
- 3). Launder your clothes according to the directions on their care tags.
- 4). Allow your clothes to air dry. Placing them into the dryer will set any remaining stain. Repeat the procedure if you were unable to completely remove the stain. Otherwise, wash and dry your clothing as you normally would.
