- 1). Hire the Interior Decorator to remodel your home. More design options unlock when you earn more Trainer Points. For example, the Seaside theme appears in the Interior Decorator's menu after you earn 12,000 Trainer Points.
- 2). Save your progress in "Nintendogs: Labrador and Friends" and turn off the Nintendo DS.
- 3). Power on the Nintendo DS without the game in the console and enter the settings option from the system's main menu.
- 4). Alter the calendar by moving the date ahead one day in the Calendar/Time submenu. Press the up button above the current date to select tomorrow's date. The Nintendo DS system restarts once you confirm the new date and time settings.
- 5). Return to your saved game in "Nintendogs: Labrador and Friends" to find that the new theme has been applied to your home without you having to wait an entire day to enjoy it.
