Toilet training is one of the most important aspects that every parent should teach to their kids especially when they are in their toddler years.
It is normal that in a day care center, some children already know what to do when they feel like peeing, but there are also those who were not yet trained at home and still uses a diaper or sometimes accidentally pees on the daycare center floor (the age of the kids vary in day care centers).
It is important though that children should not be scolded when they miss out when peeing.
It will be absorbed by the child as something negative and would make them feel guilty of their actions, which they might carry on.
Having a changing station around will give you convenience when you are changing the diapers of your kids.
It will be easier for you to place them on a flat and sturdy surface than just place them wherever you want to.
When dealing with kids, safety is the main priority.
Your changing station should be built with lengthened tight guard rails since toddlers (who are able to stand, sit, run and jump) are pretty active compared to babies.
Changing stations should be at least 2 inches to make sure that the kids will stay in the in the middle of the station and prevent them from rolling over.
To be able to promote efficiency and functionality, there are a lot of available changing stations that comes with a drawer underneath where you can keep all the necessary items that you need when changing their diapers.
