But due to some serious steps taken by the State and the Central Government their number has now increased from 1411 in 2008-2009 to 1708 and counting at present. This feat would not have been possible, if the people had not raised their voice to help save tigers. The name given to the initiative was ‘Project Tiger'.
It is always a pleasure to sight any wild animal in their natural habitat. These National Parks serve a great deal in giving these mammals their original surface. Adventure lovers should not miss this opportunity to get an experience that would be nerve chilling, adventurous and breadth taking.
