- 1). Scrape as much of the wax from the candle holder as possible with a stiff plastic scraper. Do not use metal, as this will scratch the glass.
- 2). Place the candle holder in a saucepan full of water and place it over medium to high heat. Most candle wax will melt below 150 degrees F, so when you see the wax start to melt, turn off the heat.
- 3). Take the candle holder out of the pot and immediately wipe off the loose and liquefied wax with a paper towel.
- 4). Repeat as necessary to get the wax out of all the crevices.
