The behind the scenes footage on the DVD verify that the film was shot on HD video which is pretty straight forward except for some post-production stylizing.  One can only speculate as to what other effects might have been employed or what choices were compromised by budgetary limitations but overall the scenes cut together pretty well.

As Mark over at  writes, "As with most high school horror films, there is plenty of bed play, lots of forced dialog, and the obligatory ‘go to the principals office and tell the police officer where you were that night' scene." This seems to be an inherent problem with indie films in general, too many characters that don't directly connect to the central story and scenes that do not further the underlying dramatic structure.  We spend odd moments getting to know characters that are quickly dispatched by butcher knife or otherwise just fade into the woodwork.  There are familiar freshman faces in the cast but the dialog is frequently stiff and derivative as the story trips over itself and we stumble along with the characters toward a predictable ending.

The film is about twin brothers who grow up on opposite sides of the track after the murder of their parents – Vincent (Bryan Kirkwood: MTV's Real World, Devils prey), the smarter and more reserved of the two, goes on to be a High school science teacher while his twin brother Oscar (Denny Kirkwood: Never Been Kissed, Groove), learning of his parents plot to kill him and cash in on a hefty insurance policy, murders them and goes straight to prison.  The story jumps forward to find Vincent, a science teacher at Liberty High in the State of Washington, contemplating an affair with his star pupil on the eve of his brother's release from prison.  

What ensues is a bit convoluted and unclear, charting the release of Oscar who indiscriminately kills everyone he meets.  When he finally catches up with his brother, he finds Vincent post romantic tryst with his star student, Katie (Yvonne Zima: ER, Long Kiss Goodnight) after a convenient fire breaks out.
