Kids love fun.
And while Disney is fun - that doesn't mean they have to be at a park every second of your vacation.
So, this idea is for people who've rented a car or drove to the park.
Don't get the park hopper.
Several parks in one day? That's a recipe for crankiness and problems.
Instead, go to the park first thing in the morning and figure out which rides you REALLY want to ride.
If you can ride - go, otherwise, get your FastPass and hit the other stuff.
When the kids are tuckered out or are ready to go to the second park, go back to the hotel and play in the pool.
Disney's pools are awesome.
No matter what age, your kids will love the GIANT pools with slides and fountains - definitely worth it.
If you haven't decided where to stay yet, check out the Nickelodeon Hotel just outside Disney property.
That's another great hotel with stuff to do towards the end of the day so you can avoid the Park Hopper.
On Day 2 take the family to the beach.
Other than the drive - that's free.
Who doesn't love the beach and world famous Cocoa Beach is 45 minutes away.
Great places to body surf, build sand castles, eat lunch, suntan - it's the best.
And even better you'll pass a Wal-Mart on the way there.
Wal-Mart has tons of cool Disney stuff for 25% of the price.
Hats, shirts, mugs - whatever you were planning on buying at the park.
At the end of the day, head back to the Disney and splurge on one of their property restaurants.
It'll be fun.
On Day 3 take them to another park.
This way they'll feel like they got the true Disney experience, but also had a great vacation and you didn't spend a fortune.
