- 1). Open "iTunes" if you operate a Mac and click “Preferences.” Check the box next to “Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library” under the “Advanced” menu. This automatically adds any audio books you download to your iTunes library.
- 2). Download and install the Audible Download manager if you operate a PC as you cannot download any books from Audible onto your PC without it.
- 3). Check the “Apple iTunes” box in the “After download, import audio into:” section of the installation. If you installed the manager previously, launch it and click “General Settings.” Select the “iTunes” box and “Save Settings.”
- 4). Navigate to the “My Library” section of Audible. Click the “Download It” button next to each title you want to download. After download, the titles automatically import into iTunes on both a PC and Mac.
- 5). Delete the book file from your desktop if you operate a Mac. Since the file automatically imported to your iTunes library, it has already been saved in the iTunes Library folder.
