How to Wrap Hands in Boxing

    • 1). Unravel the hand wrap and place the loop of the wrap around your thumb.

    • 2). Take the wrap around the back of your hand and begin to wrap it around your wrist. Wrap your wrist tightly about two times.

    • 3). Take the wrap around like you are going to wrap the wrist a third time, but instead of going all the way around bring it diagonally up the back of the hand.

    • 4). Bring the wrap around the palm of the hand, and bring it up across the knuckles on the back of the hand. Continue across the knuckles and the palm of your hand at least three times. Flex your hand as you wrap the knuckles to make sure the wrap isn't too tight.

    • 5). Bring the wrap down across the back of the hand and across the bottom of the palm of your hand. Wrap your thumb and then take the wrap back down the back of the hand to the wrist.

    • 6). Wrap the wrist tightly two more times and then bring the wrap up again across the knuckles one last time.

    • 7). Finish the wrap off by wrapping what is left around the wrist and securing the wrap in place with the Velcro attached to the wrap.
