Fun Fall Travel - Oktoberfests in the Pacific Northwest

In the Northwest, we love beer, fall, and any reason to gather and celebrate, so Oktoberfest events are always popular. Here is a listing of some of the Oktoberfests celebrated in the Northwest, including Washington State, Oregon, and Idaho. All of them make a great reason to plan a fun fall getaway.

Note: Some of the Oktoberfest celebrations take place in late September, rather than October.


Leavenworth Oktoberfest


The Bavarian-themed mountain town of Leavenworth, Washington, puts on an Oktoberfest celebration over several weekends in October. Mt. Angel Oktoberfest

Mount Angel, Oregon, is well known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration. Held in mid-September, the Mt. Angel Oktoberfest includes several stages of live music and entertainment, lots of food and crafts booths, and kid-friendly activities. Fremont Oktoberfest

This Seattle-area Oktoberfest holds special appeal for beer aficionados. Their beer tasting garden provides the opportunity to sample brews from around the Northwest, the US, and the world. Live music and entertainment is available on several stages and is more "rockin'" than polka. Oktoberfest Northwest

Oktoberfest Northwest is held in early October at the Western Washington Fairgrounds in Puyallup.
