Don"t Let Your Blog Die - Examples of a Blogger"s Fall

Not long ago, I noticed a fellow blogger condemning me for modifying previous writings into blog posts.
Now it should be understood that if you have relevant material that is worthy of consideration, it surely makes sense to post a replay after a year or so to benefit those who may have missed such words of wisdom that were presented in another non-blog venue.
Apparently, the critique of my strategy and opinion that some things are worth saying more than once in more than one venue was made in a spiteful tone.
Am I surprised by such pettiness from a fellow blogger? Certainly not, in fact, I have come to expect it.
You see, many people blog for ego and just cannot stand someone else stealing their lime-light.
Interestingly enough, the gentleman in question, has only posted 4 blog posts in the last 20 days.
Of these blog posts two were nothing more than sour grapes against a fellow blogger.
That fellow blogger happens to be me.
So, this gentleman in his haste to critique has allow only 2-blog posts in 20-days, this inconsistent blogging is a sign of a blog, which is dying on the vine and a writer who has failed to capture any significant audience.
As our we study bloggers who fail, we see a common thread; relatively no worthy information, sour grape attacks on other bloggers and a childish behavior that shows low-levels of thought, and inconsistency and hypocrisy of their ideals.
These issues replay over and over again online in just about every social networking blogging platform.
It's a shame and sorrow to see folks ruin themselves in this way, to watch their spiteful wrath destroy any of the goodwill they hoped to attain when they started their blog.
I use to feel sorry for folks like this, thinking maybe they were just too green at blogging to get it.
Now, I realize it's just petty human behavior getting the best of them.
I hope this will be a lesson to all on how not to blog.
